A full day course, presented by Mike Ulrich to review the potential changes to the SRA Accounts Rules & the impact on the work of Accountants. It is likely that the SRA Accounts Rules will be revised in 2019 as part of the ongoing review. This will be the final phase of this review and could see the Rules being encompassed in seven pages plus a Glossary.

This course is aimed at all accountants who act as reporting accountants for solicitor clients who operate client accounts.

Following the changes made in 2015 the SRA advises that there are still Accountants who do not appreciate the nature of these changes and the impact on the work completed by them.

Course topics include:

  • Changes to the SRA Accounts Rules
  • Factors the accountant will need to consider
  • FAQs published by the SRA which are relevant to the Accounts Rules and the work of the Accountant
  • Guidance published by the SRA and ICAEW as regards these assignments and the approach required by the Reporting Accountant
  • Reminder of areas which continue to raise questions
  • Case studies and practical examples

Please see course details for more information and to book online for £19 plus VAT.
